The Design
We love the versatility of this piece—its look changes by simply adjusting the ties. Wrap and tie it across the front for the charm of a worker’s apron or kitchen coverall. Or wear it open for an elegant, elongated drape. Or lower the tie placement for more asymmetry. And with a stitch pattern that’s attractive on both sides, we’re touting its reversibility!
We knit the Wrap & Tie Apron Vest with two lace-weight yarns held together throughout—Isager Bomulin and Silk Mohair. Soft, smooth, airy Silk Mohair brings a silky touch and gentle halo to Bomulin’s sleek blend of cotton and linen. Together, they add an intriguing depth to the dynamic acorn stitch fabric!

7 (8, 10, 11) skeins Isager Bomulin (229 yds/210m each) and
7 (8, 10, 11) skeins Isager Silk Mohair (231 yds/212m each) held together throughout.
Model is wearing color 47 (both yarns) in size M with 6″/15cm bust ease.
Or approx. 1490 (1845, 2110, 2395) yds/1363 (1687, 1929, 2190)m each of two lace-weight yarns (one mohair, one smooth) to hold together throughout, or one sport-weight yarn to hold single.
For custom lengths:To lengthen or shorten body, add or subtract approx. 70 (85, 95, 105) yds/64 (78, 87, 96)m of yarn for each 1″/2.5cm of knitted body length.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 4 (3.5mm) 32″/80cm circular needles, or size to get gauge.
US F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook for ties.
18 locking markers.
2 stitch markers.
4 spare circular needles (gauge size or smaller), so you can knit off of needle from either end; or you can use waste yarn.
Darning needle to finish.
GAUGE
26 sts/32 rows = 4″/10cm in acorn stitch, after blocking.
KNITTER’S NOTES
Make sure to read through all instructions before beginning your vest. Once you separate the fronts from the back, you will be working armhole shaping at the same time as you work the front edge decreases. For sizes M, L & XL, you will need to track double-dec rows along the front edge. We find it useful to use locking markers to keep track of rows worked.
We like using needles with long tapered tips to help with the pattern stitch. Allow yourself plenty of time to let your vest dry, since there are three layers!

Orders with more than one item are given processing time according to each item.
Prior to shipping, we will inspect thoroughly the items you've purchased. Today, the majority of orders will be shipped within 48 hours. Expected delivery time is between 3-7 days.
Returns
We do not control the inventory in our factory and warehouse. The levels of stock can change at any moment. It's possible that the stock may run out after your order has been processed.
Our policy lasts thirty days. If you don't receive the product within 30 days, we're not able to issue the option of a refund or exchange.
In order to be eligible for a refund the item must be in good condition and in the same state as when you received it. You must have the item in the original packaging.
